BECSA Library and Archival Information Services Division thrives to embrace inclusive technology in its pursuit to drive teaching, learning and research for all students and staff at the college. The mandate of BECSA Libraries and Archival Services is to provide fit for purpose knowledge products for all. BECSA library and Archival Services will produce flexible, diverse, and user-centred knowledge products, information services and resources for clients’ needs. The library reflects on the diversity, character, needs and expectations of our community. Those needs and expectations are often extensive, and the services invaluable.

Yet we struggle to keep up with the many other challenges which include rising costs of information resources, digital subscription portals, books and other materials, staff, budget deficits, shortages and a growing demands from our customers. Equally diverse service providers we are, we request you to please make a commitment to our library and information, so that we reach out to all. The intellectual and economic health of our community is highly dependent on it.

Lending/Borrowing
The BECSA Library and Archival Services strives to provide access to information resources that support quality research and teaching. Borrowing of library resources is reserved for BECSA bona fide students and staff members.
Information Skills Training
The library offers training to both students and staff on the use of e-journals, e-books, anti-plagiarism software, Research Tools (Mendeley), library catalogue and BECSA Knowledge Bank (institutional repository)

Reserve and Open Shelf books can be borrowed if you are a member of the Becsa community. However, journals, newspapers, past examination papers and books labelled reference cannot be taken out of the library as they are for in-house use only.
